How Brake Burger Garage Began
Dwayne and Matt started Brake Burger Garage at 206 State Rd 60, Lake Wales, FL after spotting an old gas station with potential. Lake Wales had plenty of chain restaurants, but no local spot making fresh burgers the right way. The decision was made to turn that empty space into something the community could enjoy.
The Idea Behind the Grill
The goal from day one was to serve burgers that are fresh and made with care. The motto, “We Fix Burgers,” comes from wanting to do things better than fast food. That means using fresh ingredients, cooking to order, and never cutting corners.

From the Bacon Bleu Cheeseburger to the crispy Deluxe Fried Chicken Burger and spicy Nashville Chicken Burger, each one is made with attention to detail.
